    Sächsischer Jäger ?

I got these two photos (+ a lot of other stuff) on today's fleamarket.

The photos were taken in Dresden:

Is that a saxonian Jäger ?
Any chance to name the unit ?

Interesting is also the IC-device on his ribbon bar (at least for me, as a yet unteached 1st WW rookie)

    Kind regards
    Robert

Those Saxons!!! They were using these silly mini EK devices from during the war well into the 1930s!

The last ribbon is for one of the Thüringian Duchies that shared the Saxe-Ernestine House Order. This Jäger Leutnant probably was in the 12th Jgr Btn, which had the Duke of Saxe-Altenburg as its patron. If you had a NAME, I could give you award dates for his Albert Order-Knight 2nd Class X in first place AND his Altenburg SEHO-Knight 2nd X.

You should see if you can see which number is visible on the shoulder straps. It can be Jäger-Bataillon 12 or 13, Reserve-Jäger-Bataillon 12, 13, 25 or 26 or Schützen-Regiment 108.
