    Meybauer EK1

This just arrived. It's an EK1 by Meybauer marked as such on the back. In over all decent shape. It has a glossy type finish to the paint.

The maker mark can be seen above the catch. The pin is a bit bent. It appears to be made of brass or something. Any ideas? nI think it's an over all nice piece.

A little better look at the Meybauer symbol. Thanks for looking.

Nice cross Don. I only have an EK2 on the way, so I have slacked off. I couldn't resist this one.

I'm standing pat for now but my collection is coming along. Here is one of my Imperial cases with my EK1s, my EK2s with ribbons and a couple of other items including an FA 1st class and a few minis. I have 16 other Imperial EK2's not shown here.

Nice cross Steve. And Don's too. If I can ever solve the mystery of the Meybauer EK2, I am looking to swap a beautiful set of Friedlanders (EK1 & EK2) for Meybauers. I want them to match my Meybauer PlM. Steve

I'm looking to pick up most of the various Meybauer EK's also. No PM's here I'm afraid. I have a ways to go however, as I only have this one and a early unmarked 1939 EK1. There must be Imperial Meybauer EK2's out there. We just have to be able to identify them or what mark was used. It can be done.
