For those who think the swasteeka boys have this market cornered, here are some Imperial badge fakes on eBay. BTW, those of you who have been on the forum for a couple years may recognize the seller's "wares". It's good ole Charbador, Sehr-Gut-Handler out of Dallas, still hard at work deceiving buyers.

Someone is getting pretty good with gold model enamel. He has a new "gold" badge each week!

Actually, doesn't it say 'Junker"?
These typres were made wholesale about 10-12 years back. A certain "nameless" dealer from Rumford, Maine (and who always sets up near Arnold Meisner at Lowell ) tried to fob one off on me for a couple of hundred bucks in 1995. Arnold told said dealer got about 20 of 'em from a guy from Texas who stopped off at the "Red Wheel" (where they had stalls on the weekend) in Freeport (Rt. 1) and sold 'em/traded 'em at $25 value each. they came with boxes and the Texan had about 100 of them.
Apart from the air badges and the naval wound badges and some high end orders and the remade medal bars and the recent spate of "reenactors" EK2s (!) and the plethora of Freikorps "remakes" and "57" versions, we still have very few fakes to worry about-in comparison-right?
