I am guessing from the numer of loops on the front of that tunic
that it belonged to someone important ??? Judging from the shoulder
          boards-Wilhelm II

            Greg,
Certainly. Check out the relative size of the arms. And then this little bit of extra info may help .....
            Regards,

Thanks for your kind words, Greg, and glad you enjoyed it. The cap and tunic, although both Wilhelm's, are not of the same regiment, of course.
                Regards,
                Sandro

Sandro, once again you show the most incredible items seen outside of a museum. I am particularly impressed by the Saxon general's haube and the tunic of Max von Baden, an amazing item considering the historical significance of this individual at the end of the war. Congratulations.

Many thanks, Vince. I imagine Max and Wilhelm must have something to talk about .............

                          Dear Sandro,

I can only reiterate what has been stated numerous times on this thread; a truly magnificent collection which could surely rival any museum in Europe. The rarity of thepieces is only surpassed by their condition. Truly spectacular!
