    New Turkish Star Fake?

    Hi Guys,

    If you haven't seen 280132791898 on ebay, then check it out. What do you think? An original with repaired enamel or a new type of fake from Eastern Europe of the same ilk as those repro Freikorps and rare state 'ek' type crosses? I'm going with the latter on gut, and thought a heads-up was deserved for all those with an eye for these awards.

    Now I'm wondering on second thought- there is some nice detailing underneath the enamel. But something is strange about this one.

    Hi Lance, I am not an Imperial collector.

    But having said that, I have handled a few of these over the years. My concerns would be the very poor enamel work and the pock marks on the reverse.
