    1813 & 1870 EK2 Opinions please

Hello...can I get your opinions on these two crosses please? The 1813 measures 42.5mm x 42.5mm and the 1870 measures 44mm high x 43.7mm wide. The metal used to make the frame on the 1870 is somewhat thinner than the average cross. There appears to be a faint "V" marking on the ring of the 1870. No marks on the 1813 that I can see. Magnets stick to the cores of both crosses.

Both look to be 1914-1920s manufacture. The 1813 is probly an 1914 cross that has been ground down. Try posting these in the Imperial Forum for more opinions.

The 1870 is a known fake. Do a search on "9th bead fake" and you will
find other examples of this cross. I agree with Don that the 1813 is more
than likely a ground 1914. I would save my money for better examples.
There is currently what looks to be a good 1813 EK2 on German ebay.
I think it is about 2200 Euros.
