Hanson was a jeweller - I don't beleive they ventured into manufacturing.
These rather unique screwback disks are most often seen marked with the Hanson name - but they do exist without any maker mark at all indicating that - like the core of the first example - they are probably a generic product too. Hanson merely chose to mark theirs.
For example... looking at the screwpost of the first example posted by Fdodge, I see no reason why a Hanson marked screwdisk wouldn't fit equally as well on the back of my Meybauer (which currently has the cruciform screwplate and DRGM marked nut)

I have been wanting to add a Hanson to my collection for some time and
here you have 2 of them. You must live right.
I appreciate the input and photos you all have posted. I've learned a lot here.
And as far as having two, My wife has a pair , why shouldn't I?
