    WW1 Veteran pin

    I picked up what I think is a WW1 vet pin. Can anyone translate these abbreviations for me? Thanks. Ammersee

    Probably "Verband der Verein". There is another less likely variation but as these things go this is probably it. It's abbreviated to make room and the first part was just standard boilerplate leading up to the "Former Frontfighters 1914-1918" element at the end.

      Yes the first part could be "Verband der Vereine"....
