The Sleeve On The Right Fits Into The Sleeve On The Left. Both Are Approx 4.25 X 4.5 Inches And Made Of Brown Leather. I Know That It Has Something To Do With Christmas And Is For The Red Cross But Any Other Information Would Be Appreciated! Thanks, Ausgang

off the top of me head could be a cigar(ette) holder from the red cross for christmas 1916. It most probally came of origonally came with contents intact Similar to the British gift tin of 1914.
