Hi,

one of my latest purchases, a well worn bavarian pilots badge from Hans A..
The cross on the crown has been broken. The badge is marked by Pollath.

Hi Heinrich,can you post a picture of the reverse with pin up?Are there weep holes in the reverse? Also a clearer picture of the obverse would be useful. Looking again there does seem to be some dulling of detail around the top of the crown,left,are the crown arches pierced out ? If so it may just be solder 'bleed' I am seeing.

At first blush it just looks like a real sloppy cast with lousy detail. Since I'll never be a technician, I like to take refuge in quality, this doesn't have it! Horrible pin, too...
