Inf Rgt 108? What are Schneider's first names there? I didn't find a 108th match in the Merit Order-Knight 2nd X roll, and would like to pencil in the awards on the correct guy. Whadda rack!!!!

              Hi Werner,

if You compare just this SV3bX-group (around 1400 awards) with a "boring" RK of the EK (around 8000 awards)

              Best regards

Werner I'm with Daniel on this one. I just wish I had seen the auction, I would probable gone a little higher to get this bar

In fact anything for a St. Henry piece.

                  Hi Daniel and Mike,

you rich boys..... you must add 20 % to the 1200,- EUR and who says that the other bidder stops at 1250,- EUR....that's more than 3000,- DM.

Do you remember the prices in 2001 before the EURO comes

EK 2 20,- DM, silberne St.Heinrich 200,-DM, Verdienstorden 450,- M, Albrechtsorden 300,- DM, FAM and so on 100,- DM ----- together 1100,- DM, on top for the bar 200,- DM.....and now

                  Werner

Werner, You are sooo right. The good old times.
As I started Ribbon Bars I paid 1 DM per ribbon and 1 DM per attachment, so a nice 10 place bar for not even 20 DM, today You can be lucky to get one for 100 Euros!

                    Best regards

                    Daniel

Werner, unfortunatly I don't remember the "good old days" before the Euro, as I only took to serious collecting of Imperial in June of that year moremad moremad.

But in the end, who is to blame for the inflation in prices?? It can only be people like us, who will continue to pay that little bit more to get that elusive bar or award. Unfortunatly that's the name of the game and it's the nature of the collector to go after that next piece that will add to the theme that he is following.
