This is a picture I have taken in Ingolstadt (Bayrisches Militärmuseum). It would be a dream for any Imperial medal bar collectors; can you tell me who belonged this bar? That's a quiz for our specialists (Rick, maybe Werner knows it already...).

We can rule out von Moltke immediately. He died in 1916, ergo no Austria-Hungary KDM.
The period is right for Ludendorff, but he was was Prussian, so no Bavarian precedence. Same with Hindenburg.
Looks like a 40 year DAK. Bavarian, Prussian, Austrian and Brunswick wartime awards, Bavarian, Prussian and Austrian peacetime. Commanded in the East or Italy?

No, the combination is that of a Major.

I just don't have the hours of time to devote to finding an "answer" that is already known, since I am piled up with finding out real "unknown" bars. It takes too long and isn't "fun" without the satisfaction of identifying an UNKNOWN (and AVAILABLE ) person, for me.
