I have a similar one, including the hardware setup. I can post it later or find a link. These are legit private purchase pieces from the 20's or 30's. The construction should be brass. Yours is in good shape as often they don't seem to hold thier finish. The rough core paint is also characteristic of these pieces. They also come in screwback versions. Interesting pieces for sure.

This EK is fine. It's a very nice condition variant that has fittings most often seen on SA sports badges. My opinion is that these are from the early 1930's. Being private purchase they are scarce.

I really like the deliberately pebbled core fields. The second class is the same.
