          Also, note weird shape of both crowns, and 1870 sits right on the silver frame, while 1813 is halfway up the cross. I dont think I like this one, even if the frame was correct.

            Hi,

            I think Vadim and George Stimson are right. The core looks not at all o.k. and the frame looks like a 1939 issue.
            Even with the explanation of a "not so common maker" or "foreign maker" I would not buy it.

              I believe these originated in a cave in Arizona. Some of you will be able to make the connection. If you buy it you'll be up a creek without a paddle.

                          this one is even fancier, with a 25-year thingy and a 1914 thingy!!! Sure, the recipient was over 60 by the time WW1 started but who cares?
