    Treu dem Regiment

    Dear imperialites,

I just wanted to show my brother's "Treu dem Regiment" crosses, naturally all on "Einzelbandspange"!!! They are also really fun to collect. Notice the names of the unit on the bars...

    Ciao,

    Claudio

    Really nice

Hello Claudio, I just love these. I had quite a few in my 'First' Imperial collection way back in the seventies. When I was tempted over to the Dark Zinc Side I let them go. They were of no great value then, but I sure regret losing them. It is great to relate a piece to a particular regiment.

        Carl,

My brother got two of them from Kalies... Man! You have to be quick, because some of the things he puts on the update are sold really fast. I picked the two best looking in parade mount for my brother who is a "Einzelbandspange-Fetischist" and I was lucky. I saw all the other crosses at the show. Actually Kalies did on me a really great impression... very nice discret guy. He is the one who gave as gift the ribbon bar with the Iron Cross for non-combattants...

        Newlyn,

It is really a lot of fun to collect them, especially if you are interested in collecting stuff by units...

        Christian,

It is impossible to tell you which maker made them, because they are not marked. It is interesting that the colors of the ribbons of this medal have very different shades, especially the middle stripe of the ribbon (red, yellow and beige/white). I don't know how many bars existed. The only way to know is to have a period catalogue of the maker who produced them. Furthermore there are "treue dem Regiment" and "treue dem Battalion"... the latter ones are rarer. As you can see the ones pictured above are all "treue dem Regiment". Perhaps you might know more than I do...

        Ciao,

        Claudio

                  Treu dem Battalion

Here I am posting a nice pic of my brother's last acquisition: a quite rare Battalions-Ehrenkreuz with the clasp of the still rarer "Garde Jäger" Battalion.

                  Enjoy...

                  Ciao,

                    nice one!

do you know how they choose the ribbon colors to the bars?
are there any regulations on them?

                      Dear Imperialoids,

Another addition to my brother's single mounted medals: a WWI veterans' commemorative medals for Silesian Jägers!

                      Enjoy!

                      Ciao,
