1914 EK2 Marked "IIIIXIIII"

I posted this EK2 in the wrong forum earlier today - just realised it should have been here!

Can anyone one help with the maker on this 1914 EK2? It appears to be "IIIIXIIII". I have shown the mark both ways it can be viewed below. The core is magnetic. Frame halves are non-magnetic. The core is a little loose on this example.

I had one like this once, I think you'll find it could be two letters, perhaps CD, with an 800 silver mark. Some one with much more experience with cores maybe to confirm this or not.

I think you have a CD800 there. The cross and the maker mark appear to be that. Hang on to it. These are some of the nicer EK2's and usually bring a bit more money. Here's mine.

And the rear. I,ve seen the maker mark on these be very crisp and easy to read and also harder to read, like yours, and mine.

Thanks guys! I get it now. The tops of the lettering and numbers both sides of the stamping are missing because of the rounded portion of the ring. It is definitely CD800.
