I enter into the black textbox forum to welcome the newest member of our administration team, Daniel Krause (the poster formerly known as “Spiess”).

Daniel has been an active member of this forum for some time now and those of you who frequent our Imperial room know him well. I want to thank him for accepting the challenge, he makes an excellent addition the team!

Hi Guys, thank You for Your nice words!

first of all I´m very proud and honored that I was choosen as new Moderator for the Imperial Forum. I will do my best as a Moderator to the Forum as I did it as an Association member.
Another thing, my English is not the best one, so please dont laugh if I make mistakes.

Some detail about my life:

I was born 30 years ago in Guben , a small town southeast of Berlin.
Joined Air Force age 18, stayed until now and will probably stay until retirement. I am now Master Sergeant in S3 branch of Defense District Command Potsdam. So if somebody wants to visit Potsdam, You know where to find a city tour guide!
I am married, one daughter (5 1/2) and we expect a second one this days.
I live now with my family in Potsdam.
I started to collect 18 Years ago and as You already know my main collecting interests are Medal and Ribbon bars.
Otherwise I´m interested in all Imperial awards and in literature about it. 3rd Reich I gave up long time ago.

How is Potsdam these days? The last time I was there the city and the palace complex were ungergoing a big clean-up, in hopes of becoming a tourist trap.
