Is this group real??

I am going to buy my first group now, and i think this is going to be the one!

What do you think, have asked for more pictures (of the back to) but I send this picture on the group and some of the papers.
One of the paper is a copy (he dosent say whitch).

That is a very nice group! I hope that ALL those black and white documents aren't copies... they look like it to me, with all the stamps in the same black and white as the rest. The beautiful Hessian bravery medal document should be original. If the others ARE copies, at least you have the information about him.

One interesting thing is that he chose to wear the OLD 1825-1913 ribbon for his IX Years Service BROOCH, even though he updated with the M1913 medal itself!

This is a classic 1920s veteran's group, to a retired career NCO called back for wartime service. He would have been discharged as a "Leutnant der Landwehr aD" after the war, having served as a Feldwebelleutnant since 1914.
