EK2 identification help

Hi,

I am new to Imperial. I just received this EK2 (my first) and was wondering if someone could tell me something about it.

It has no makers mark anywhere, the core is non-magnetic and it weighs 15.5 grams. The core is definitely a separate piece as it rattles a bit inside the frame.

Maybe this is the most common type, I don't know, but I'm keen to learn!

Sorry to say that I think your cross is a fake. The silver frame has
very poor detail. the soldering attaching the small ring to the cross
is very poor.

Hi Greg,

I'm distressed to hear that! The scanner pics are maybe a little unclear as my scanner has some problems with "depth perception." Here's another pic. The EK is actually on a spange w. a Hindenburg cross.

If you still think it's fake then I will contact the seller. It only came in this week.
