Emperor Franz Joseph I bronze statue. Is it him?

I bought this bronze, Vienna, Austria made statue of whom I believe to be a younger Emperor Franz Joseph I of Austria. It is extremely well made and highly detailed. The base is marked as being made of bronze in Vienna.

Could anyone confirm my thoughts, and if not Franz Joseph, who might it be?

    Thanks,

    Chuck

Franz Joseph I circa 1830 and mid 1840's.

The uniform etc. are very much the same. Although the statue does not have the mutton chop style beard he is wearing the longer moustache.

Based on the mustache, I'm going to make a guess that is actually a statue of Feldzeugmeister Julius Jacob Heinrich Friedrich Ludwig Freiherr von Haynau, also known as the Beast of Brescia. He was born at Kassel on October 14 1786 as the illegitimate son of Landgrave Wilhelm IX (later Elector Wilhelm I.) of Hesse-Cassel and Rosa Ritter von Lindenthal. He died in Vienna of a heart-attack on March 14 1853.

Most of this information and the picture came from this web page http://www.austro-hungarian-army.co.uk/biog/haynau.html

Were it FJ he would have had an Order of the Golden Fleece around his neck. I was under the impression that the fore & aft hat under his arm was only for naval men. Is that not correct?

No, I'm not sure of the time period, but Austrian generals also wore the fore & aft hat with their full dress uniforms at one time in their history.

Haynau, it was thanks to your kind explanation to me one time about your avatar that I was able to recognize von Haynau!

Ottomaton, here's a poor photo of Archduke Franz Ferdinand and Kaiser Franz Josef both wearing fore & aft hats with huge draping plumes.
