Hallo!
Last friday I have bought from Daltev (incredible!) this freikorp badge. The description says:

"Metal badge for the armband, 35x50 mm"

the badge looks good, but I'm not convinced by the dimension of the badge, it seems to be too little...

I know that Daltev is one of best dealers but what do you think obout it?

It looks pretty good, but I've never seen or heard of this small size! Could be a significant variation, though the "armband" explanation sounds like speculation.
