    Shoulder tabs, 'liberated'

Would anyone care to take a stab at these shoulder tabs?

    http://www.geocities.com/midgardarts/tabs.html

Yet another one of the under documented goodies in the collection. They appear to have been cut from the shoulders of the former owners.

    Well,

    the shoulder boards are of the Füsilier-Regiment 34, Infanterie-Regiment 188 and Infanterie-Regiment 75 (or perhaps Reserve-Infanterie-Regiment or Landwehr-Infanterie-Regiment 75) (upper row) and Infanterie-Regiment 413 and Infanterie-Regiment 167 (lower row).

Great thank you AOK4. Do you know what the purpose / or meaning of the insignia on the 1st tab?

      Again, thanks

        Queen Viktoria

        MG,

the letter V surmounted by a crown is the cypher of the regimental chief of Füsilier-Regiment Nr. 34 - Queen Viktoria of Sweden. The full title of the regiment was Füsilier-Regiment Königin Viktoria von Schweden (Pommersches) Nr. 34. The Queen became the "Chef" on the 3rd of August 1908.

        Regards
        Glenn
