    Signiture help!!!

I recently aqcuired several Imperial German Ranklists. In three of them the owner was thoughtful enough to sign his name. The only problem is that it is hard to figure out the name. Any help is greatly appreciated. Please view the attached three pictures and tell me what you think. Thanks

I'd say: von Tresckow, Below and Stannager.
Anyone disagrees? If you do, you must give an alternative!

von Tresckow on the first-- there were soooo many of them , you'll only be able to tell which one if you find many hand notes on a unit one was in.

Hendelin (???) v(on) Below 1893--- if reading that WEIRD first name correctly, this one may be traceable. Again, try looking for owner's scribbles on a unit's page which had a von Below in it.

Last one baffles me a bit. What year is that in?

I have found a Wendelin von Below, born Königsberg 27 May 1877, commissioned Leutnant in 2. Garde-Ulanen Rgt 18.10.97 S3s. About 1908/9 he went to der Reserve in the same Regiment as Oberleutnant, promoted Rittmeister dR 1913/14.

As of 1914 he held the Reserve-Landwehr Decoration 2nd Class, 1897 Centenary Medal, saxon Albert Order-Knight 2nd, and Prussian Johanniter Order. Survived WW1.

He was only 16 in 1893, though.

Rick, I don't think that is the corect person. The RL is 1893. The page in the RL that is marked up is in the 1893 RL, 1. Wistsalisches Husaren=Regiment Nr. 8 and v.Below is listed as a Oberst. He was awared the 1870 EK2. Thanks
