    Here are some interesting pics I found the other day. They were taken by a doughboy in 1919. His family let them go in an estate sale.

                very good and authentic pics from 1919.

                Pic 1 + 2 show : 2nd from left Generalfeldmarschall von Hindenburg.

                2nd from the right: the Germann Emperor Kaiser Wilhelm II.

                  He abdicated in 28. November 1918 and was not longer King of Prussia and Emperor of Germany. One day later he went into the exile in the Netherlands.

                    These pics were not taken in 1919. And I doubt they were taken by an American. They were taken by German photographers of a review. But they are original photos from negatives. Here is a link that shows the same pic at the top of Hindenburg. I have others that capture the same review. Steve

                      Hello everyone and thanks for the feedback. The info mentioned above was passed on by the family so who knows. The captions on the back were there when I obtained them. I was taken aback by how proud they still were after their defeat in WW1 if these were indeed taken in 1919.
