    Bavarian Wonder Bar

Well, I'm bumped out of top place, for now. I will bid later. BUT, my question is.... How likely that an enlisted guy with the Silver Bravery Medal gets bumped up and gets a BMVO4 as well??

      detail shot:

Flip side. The thing that's throwing me is that both the bravery medal and the BMVO are so BRIGHT looking, almost as if someone polished the heck out of them...?

Dunno about the M, but the MVO is a Frosted Weiss& Co piece. I've posted one, I think way back in the "Pretty Blue Enamel" thread... only mine is a "mule" with a frosted SILVER reverse disk.

          BM & MVO4X?--

among regulars I find 3, but cannot place any of them in the Wehrmacht as (E) officers. Probably, then a Reserve Leutnant called back as (E)-- not uncommon. But no way to find an MVO4X for one of those!

larger view...by the way, it's a 4 year LS medal. This photo was taken @1936, so if the LS was added later that year-and a Hungarian commemorative thrown in.....

                Thanks Jeff!

Thanks Jeff, this will probably end up canceled by the "thought police" as soon as they find that nast "szwashstickah" thingie on there. I'll probably bid again and then contact the seller.

Although it's a picture of a reserve officer, there may have been others-idf you cross reference Rick lundstrom's Bayern Goldenehgernbuch with the Autengruber BMVO4 roll-I'd bet you'll find about a score of 'em.
Nice piece-I wish i had seen it first. Good Luck!
