1914 EKII With 1939 Frames - Perhaps

Hi Guys,

I have an option on this item.

I have been told that the frames measure 44mm x 44mm and that the core is non magnetic although the photos appear to show rust or is it brown dirt.

Photos are the best I can get.

Is this a 1939 replacement item or a dodgy fake.

Your photos are a bit over exposed, but overall I don't like this one. Given how many original 1914 EK2s are out there, and the relative cheapness of them, I'd pass on this and spend your money on another one.

Just my opinion.

Hi Marshall,

Gee, I should have seen this one coming as I looked into 'Muffin Crown' fakes here on the forum a few weeks ago.

Some guy just paid $NZ61 odd for it off 'Trade Me' - bit of a bummer even at that price if it's dodgy.
