Hi Rick:
I have a commander's badge to the Order of Civil Merit that is of far superior make to any of the Bulgarian made decorations and is a real peach of a badge. It has no marks except for SILBER on the suspension ring. According to "Court Jewelers of the World", some German and Austrian firms made some of the royal Bulgarian insignia, including Rothe, if memory serves me correct. I wish mine had more markings, but alas, no...
