Greetings to all. I'm new to this site and to computors in general. I 've been collecting for many years and would like to share some of the items in my collection with this forum but haven't found any directions on how to post pictures. I use a scanner and have posted on ebay and MSN sites. Any help would be apreciated. Thanks, Fred

Welcome to the forums.
To post pictures the best way is to spend $20 and become an Association member.
The best money you will ever spend!!!!!!!!

Originally none of us could post pix here directly, which meant linking from all our individual image hosting sites.
Given the average life span of those (or the ever increasing subsription increases) many of the wonderful threads which can be found by doing a "search" on any subject of interest in each forum lost their scans forever!
We have had the ability to PERMANENTLY download and SAVE scans for some time now:
of much larger size than Some Places, and also without that annoying Log In Or Can't View feature which some people apprantly consider great marketing.
A $20 annual Association membership not only allows you to post your pix-- and without pix, this is like collecting by radio! but also allows access to Members Only areas which contain many more permanent reference articles and image galleries than are shown on the FREE articles/reference side of this website (click on Wehrmacht Collectors Association at the bottom of the Forums Index Page to go there).
Or... you can spend vastly more on a private image hosting service (which fills up at an alarming rate) to make links that last only as long as you pay them.
Most of us have extremely limited technical skills. I myself have NO ability to edit anybody else's images, nor even to receive any not in jpeg/jpg format.

Thanks Dave and Rick, I have just filled out the application and will mail in a check. I used to be a member of the Imperial German Military Collectors Assoc. #488, (some of you should remember that great group) which sadly passed away years ago. Looks like this group could fill that gap nicely. I'm also a member of OMSA which is a group that all serious medal collectors should belong to. Military Trader, published monthly, is rapidly becoming a publication that members of this forum should check out. The next issue will feature an article on the SMS Emden of WWI fame. Published by Krause Publications , Iola, WI check out their web site at Collect.com. Cheers, Fred

IGMCA... now there's a name from the past! Shawnee Mission, KS! Still have my membership card...
I gave up on the erratically published IGMCA at a point when I think I was two years AHEAD on paying dues, and a year BEHIND on getting issues!
That's something that NEVER happens here: "fresh stuff" every day!
