Here are two german handgrenades (inert of course). The Kugelhandgranate Model 1915 and the Eierhandgranate Model 1916/17. Both have a pull-fuse, but only the egg-grenade can be activated by hand. The ball-grenade can only be used with the Grabenpanzer (trench-armor) or with some kind of hook attached to the belt.
