          Hi,

Hmmm.... If this same Juncker maker mark was on a Prussian Badge with the crown marking, I wonder how many people would be questioning the Prussian badge then? I think this exact marking on this Bavarian badge (a bogus combination as far as I know) re-opens a can of worms (there I've said it - now I need a smiley ducking for cover!!)

Errrr........it appears this seller has placed the close-up back photo of his Juncker Observer on both the Prussian and Observer lots. They are both same photograph. A close look at the full back photo with Photoshop reveals that this "Bayern Observer" seems to be Carl Poellath, but does it matter? As Mike has said, people tend to focus on the leeeeetle tiny name stamp and not the quality. I am sure there are some bidders who will go for it, blinded by the makers stamp, completely oblivious to the quality, and it will become a treasured artifact. T

              Tony,

I totally missed that the maker's mark did not belong to the same badge. How embarassing
