I WIN! I WIN! St. Henry RK Lot!

I am thrilled to now own this lot of personal items belonging to a WW2 General who won the St. Henry RK in WW1. Expensive, but worth it to me!

      More details!

I even get his Silverware! Now, are these officer's mess items? Something from old Albert himself? Anybody know??

          Last shot!

More postcards & photos! Since this obviously came from someone in his family, I'm hoping this dealer can get more of his stuff. Who knows, but it's a great thought!

            Hi StogieR,

congratulation to this lot - you have to remember that I hold my hands still......

I won't fight against friends of this forum, but sometimes we have to fight it out. Can I buy the picture of General Kathgen???? I 'll send you a mail.

            Best regards

            Werner

congratulations on the new purchase => i think you did very well for that price as it is quite something to purchase such a bar with pictures, etc ...

                  "Stoge",

I'll swear that's a cloth EK2 Spange he's wearing in the one photo. Talk about "rare birds"....

                    Thanks guys!

It's been quite some time since anything attributable has come up in Germany, or in the US. Anybody have any ideas on the silverware? Werner, your site-mailbox is full! I eMailed you! I don't suppose Werner has his medal bar stashed away??

Very cool. What outfits did he serve in in WWI?

Am I missing something? Why are his general's litzen pointing the wrong way?

I thought there was a food shortage in W.W.II?

                            Dave Danner wins the cookie!

Congrats Dave! His Litzen are pointing the wrong way because the portrait was taken when he was an Oberst. When promoted, he had the litzen air-brushed into the photo, except they did it in club-reverse!
                            Sharp eyes!
