It looks like my Prinzen collection of 1870 and 1914 EK's are all fakes. Even buying from dealers like Emedals.ca and Liverpool Medals of England are not immune from passing copies off as originals. I am sorry for you. I would seem that seller of the "prinzen" crosses I have is not interested in getting back his "original" items. Unfortunately I paid too much money and am considering filing a suit. Also FYI Detlev gave me a quick read on the normal size EK 2 1870, he feels the core is a modern fake with the frame being original from.......1914! If it helps take a look and be wary. Fortunately on that one the seller is a gentleman and not a ripoff artist, so I will get my money returned. Don't buy quickly & question everything.
