    I just picked up this imperial EK1....the case I found interesting...anyone seen a case with an afixed label like this?

              Hi Shawn,

              it is definitely a imperial box. The sample of the box give it away and the
              inlay cloth as well.
              Navy or dark purple velvet has been used only during the imperial times.

                  Nice cased H.B.G. these are hard to find. Especially cased. Unfortunately that is not a label. That is the seal for an official letter or package sent by the District Court in Bonn during the TR. It doesn't belong there. Perhaps it was vet done in '45. Sorry
