Hello:
the item shown is a badge of a War Veterans association located in Mehren. Probably from the pre-1918 era based on appearance and the reverse inscription.
The reverse shows the Imperial head gear inscription:"Mit Gott fuer Koenig und Vaterland" (With God for King and Fatherland).
