    Poor poor Ralph.

By now, he is scratching his head and muttering all sorts of gibberish such as, "It's all Greek to me!". A veritable onslaught of images of great beauty that draw from all corners of Europe. Goodbye zinc, hellooo enamel!
Betcha got more than you bargained for, huh, Ralph? Fun, though!

Here's one more that I will post with you in mind: it is Greek, but was awarded to Bavarians only! Welcome!

      no, no...

I can keep up. Let 'er rip.

However, Kathie called me to bed two hours ago, and I don't think she had "sleep" in mind.

Thus is the power of "things Imperial". Selah.

"Good night"... as far as you know.

            How about if

we limit the items to things that we actually posess at this moment? That's what I've been doing.

              Here's one more.

I sincerely doubt that I may get the chance to upgrade from this example, but I must say that I am content with this one...

Ok, it was just a thought.

But what is the return volley gonna be? A balloon badge, German Order or a rosecut zirconium-encrusted war badge? At best an ultra-nifty Gau badge or two. That's what I'm hoping to see. I really like those early Gau badges...the problem is this: after looking at Imperial stuff all of the time the 3rd Reich stuff starts to look like...this! (even though the real thing is much nicer).

Well--in my mind--lets keep the zink stuff out of here--they have every other thread on this forum to show there stuff--THIS IS THE ONLY IMPERIAL tread! Now--Here is a cutie I have and even the non enamel medals put the zinc to shame!!! Boys--lets show Ralph what we have--if you have other countries pre 1918--then bring it on! The more the better---Just my humble thoughts and in my mind over due!!!!!! Mike

                                Regarding cases......

........ even the most common of medals can take on a whole new value and meaning when they are cased.........
