First, I would never buy something like this based on such crappy photos. Unless, of course, I was paying like $10 and then I would gladly - it is either real and a steal or my kids can play dress-up with them. But the details in the EK1- even with these photos - do not look promising. Just compare them.

One man's opinion. I think you should ask for better pics and research what we have here.

Hey - I think the EK2 is the stepped-core fake we have seen almost everywhere. Whaddya think Marshall?

That was the red light for me. I don't trust any 1870s with a stepped core. (especially prinzen crosses) I am sure there is a good one out there somewhere but I have not seen it.
