I was watching a show a while back on how they make cloisonne (the show was about Russian ceramics) and it is amazing how much acual human craftsmanship actually goes in the production of enameled peices. Truly astounding. Its no wonder they didnt pursue this more in the III reich. Very time consuming, especially with such delicate detail.
