I vaguely recall a question posted concerning the authenticity of EK1s that have silver marks (800) on both the pin and the cross itself. I have an example that has such markings. In addition, the pin bar and clasp hook are both placed on little silver panels that separate these attachments from the main body of the badge. I just want to stress how rare these versions are. I think that several disparaging comments were made concerning the veracity of this version. The truth is these exaples are much sought after by collectors on the Euro market. The quality of craftmanship is very fine. Having an example of this version is like eating a hot fudge Sunday while Brittany Spears is gently nibbling on your toes...
