    This is my Fliegerschützenabzeichen. I understand that there were these hollow ones and massive ones. It would be great to see your versions for comparisons and/or get your valued opinions.

      Only you and Eric, Frank! See his "Suspicious Prussian Gunner's Badge" back on page two here.

      I've never personally handled ANY of these, so cannot say.

      As a late war badge, the metal and construction of yours (pin very like the 1918 wound badges etc) seems... appropriate.

      Eric's too, for that matter--being made out of war metal alloy as we could expect.

      I'd be less happy with a hollow massive silver one, but then as far as any of us can tell, these guys all spent the parts of the 1920s that were prosperous ordering deluxe real silver wearing duplicates for themselves.
