    WW1 soldbuch&militarpass

    Hello,
i was wondering if anyone could tell me if it is common to find a soldbuch and militarpass(in original cover/case) belonging to the same man?Just wondered as these are now nearly 90 years old!Normally i collect third reich docs, soldbuchs etc,but when i saw these they really appealed to me.Also, have these been faked at all as has happened with the third reich books?
Many thanks in advance for any info,
    Kind regards,
    yorkie

In my experience, it is extremely uncommon to find a set still together--which is most peculiar, since every single man had both!

I cannot imagine HOW anybody could fake them credibly--they are a tangle of the hideous old Gothic handwriting which is beyond most modern readers (but not Yours Anciently), so unless these are crispy fresh with "exotic" unit affiliations I would not worry about fakery.
