Ring insrciption help needed

I would appreciate some help with this inscription on the inside of the ring.I have tried an online translation service but it does not make much sense. The inscription reads:
wir deutsche furchten gott-sonst nichts auf der welt.

That is a rather famous quote from Otto von Bismarck and can be translated as "We Germans fear God, but nothing else on this Earth." It remained a favorite quote for many years and was used, as is the case with your ring, during WWI to motivate/inspire the populace.

I may be a little off here, but I believe it basically says:

We Germans are only afraid of God, nothing else in this world
