Imperial Gold Wound Badge

Hi Guys,

Picked this up on the e-stand.

Body, pin and clasp are all magnetic.

Finish is a matt gold.

Would this be wartime issue or post war manufacture?

WW1 Wound Badges are not my main collecting focus so all help gratefully recieved.

I will second that. I have always believed the painted silver and golds were issue. Great condition piece, hard to find them with that much finish.
