Anyone ID this badge for me ?

I recently picked up this lapel badge in with a group of Tinnies,anybody know what it is?.It has a couple of marks on the rear,one is a tiny version of the badge itself with a T on the left side and a V on the right.The other is a bit vague but seems to say BERAN,BPEST.I wondered if the BPEST could stand for Budapest ?

Looks like a Hungarian version of the German Stahlhelm veterans' association type pin.
