Does anyone remember reading an article long ago in The Medal Collector or Kaiserzeit about an engraved 1914 Iron Cross 1st class which was attributed to a battle between German and Turkish units. The Germans were trying to stop the Turks from killing a bunch of Armenian Christians. I remember reading the article but can't find it listed in any of my indexes. Thanks, Fred
