Baden pieces
As promised, here are some awards of the Grand Duchy of Baden.
1. Order of the Zähringen Lion, Knight 2nd Class w/Swords:
2. Merit Cross of the Order of the Zähringen Lion, for NCOs, with peacetime ribbon. As with many other Baden awards, during WW1, wartime awards were on the Militär-Karl-Friedrich-Orden ribbon, but the peacetime ribbon was also seen during the war. This example came cased, but I can't scan cases and I don't have a digital camera:
