Wow, I do not think I have ever seen a prewar stonewear stein like that.
Definitely never with a roster on it. The pewter lid is great, just a super piece. It's great that you have his medals, pics and the soldbuch. Can you photo the pages with his units he served in and his medals. Very nice. My grandfather was drafted and reported for service on Nov. 11, 1918. He got sent home, so no great memories of WW1.
