    Saxon Awards

What would the Saxon equivents be, more or less of the following Prussian Awards?
EK II, EK 1, HHO X, PLM.
    Thanks,
    Dan Cole

Hi Dan! This is a rather interesting question, I had never considered the Saxon awards in this respect. My supposition would be as follows:
    PLM-St. Henry Order
why? The PLM is Prussia's top military award, although it was conferred strictly to officers. Saxony's top military award is the St. Henry. Although it gets cloudy as General Officers would receive a grand cross, commander's cross (with/without breast star) and regular officers, down through the ranks could get the Knight's cross (including nco's & enlisted).
HHOw.X-Zivilverdienstorden. Second highest award for each kingdom, both could be awarded with/without swords.
EK1/EK2-Order of Albert, first/second class with swords. This one can get complicated as a crown suspension is awarded by Saxony in the First Class Grade. But, basicly, a Saxon soldat would get an EK2/AOR2w.X on a pretty equivalent basis and the junior officers would get the EK1/AOR1w.X the same. Rick Lundstrom is better than I with the regs. and actual usual award/rank associations. So maybe he can pitch in here as well with his thoughts.
