I've had this since I was a teen and was wondering just what it is.. I'm sorry for the fuzzy pics, but the maltese cross appears to be sterling or silver plate but there's no mm that I can find...?

Looks like a Johanniterorden Cross. How big is it?

Hi Billmunny,

For what it’s worth, here is a similar cross which I have always assumed to be a lower class Johanniter cross. I don’t know if you can tell from the pictures; but mine has sew on loops as opposed to a pin like yours; and it measures 28 mm.

Yah, but the silver one that I have and the two other silver one that I've seen are identical and not like yours. I believe the silver ones are all breast stars.

I'll post photos of my silver one which I got off of the e-stand in a bit when I have a few free minutes.

There are, however, many other versions on the Order of St. John and it might belong to one of them.
