The web site is Hermann Historica. They're one of the top German auction houses. Browsing through their catalogues is enough to make you drool. Keep in mind that they do charge commissions, so add 20% to whatever the winning bid was.

I just read your last post. Often it takes me a few days to read through everything and make full circle back to here. I'd love to see the item. When are we getting together again?
I'd like to sight in the guns also. . .like we discussed before with Feldjager and Ranger. I just found some old tracer bullets for an old British enfield rifle. That should be fun too. Medals and guns, what could be better?

I have been looking for a MM with crown and swords for some time with no luck. Really like the early pieces with the real gold. I do have a Bavarian pilot for trade or will buy one out right for the right price.

have a nice set in a group: MMO4X, the receipt recipients had to sign promising to return it if advanced in grade or have their heirs return it to the Orders Chancery (rather ghoulish "at the front"!!) with stamp showing MMO4X indeed turned in, so issue of MMO4XwCrown authorized by the bean counters, and document for same.

Bavarian WWI award documents were MOST peculiar...

That is an awesome medal bar! So many crowned awards altogether like that is impressive. If only those medals could talk.
