    WWI German Medal, please identify.

    Hello,

    I bought this medal today in a small pile of stuff and believe it to be German WWI. Please identify it for me and let me know if it's worth buying a ribbon for. Thanks,

        Indeed it is. A very common medal, but a nice one nonetheless.
        If you can find an old, original, beat up ribbon to match the award I'd say it would improve the overall image.
